Sunshine Gardens Country Home, located just 15 minutes from downtown Durango and 5 minutes from the newly constructed Mercy Regional Medical Hospital, rests on a Mesa that boasts an expansive mountain view. This warm and unique home offers an alternative to seniors facing memory impairment due to accidents, strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, and early stage Alzheimers. We maintain a calm and harmonious atmosphere in our fourteen-bedroom facility, where residents are ambulatory, non-combative, and non-abusive.

Each resident will receive individual, one-on-one care from our loving and well-trained personal care staff. Along with an extensive service package, our open floor plan with cozy amenities, helps keep life enjoyable for our residents.
